General

WATERFOWL Cloacal and (in ganders) phallus inflammation, sometimes permanent damage to phallus.

Clinical Characteristics

WATERFOWL Temporary inappetance, cloacal inflammation (males and females). In males phallus inflammed and covered with foamy mucus, later mucosal ulceration, necrosis, sometimes prolapse and scarring of the mucosa or even sloughing of part of phallus. Infertility of up to 90% (B15, B32.14.21, B37.x.w1).

Mortality / Morbidity

WATERFOWL Morbidity 20-100%, mortality, 10% of ganders (B15, B32.14.w21).

Pathology

WATERFOWL Genital lesions, also fibrinous pericarditis, peritonitis, splenomegaly, focal splenic necrosis (B15).
